Min Cui, PhD, is a Vice President at Bay City Capital and has been with the firm since October 2006. He currently focuses on evaluating investment opportunities for the firm. Dr. Cui founded / co-founded two biotech companies in the US, as well as a pharmaceutical company in China. Most recently, he was Director of Strategic Investment Planning for Southern Research Institute, an organization that has discovered and developed six anti-cancer drugs approved by the FDA. Dr. Cui served as Chief Scientific Officer of Pan Pacific Pharmaceuticals from 1998-2002 and of Huanuo Biopharmaceuticals from 2003-2005. In these positions, he led efforts in evaluating and acquiring several key technologies in the fields of oncology, infectious, and inflammatory diseases. Dr. Cui serves on the board of directors of ProGenTech.  He received his PhD in Cancer Biology from Stanford University, and a BS in Molecular Biology from Peking University.
