Min Cui, PhD, is a Vice President at Bay City Capital and has been with the firm since October 2006. Dr. Cui founded / co-founded two biotech companies in the US, as well as a pharmaceutical company in China. Most recently, he was Director of Strategic Investment Planning for Southern Research Institute, an organization that has discovered and developed six anti-cancer drugs approved by the FDA. Dr. Cui served as Chief Scientific Officer of Pan Pacific Pharmaceuticals from 1998-2002 and of Huanuo Biopharmaceuticals from 2003-2005. In these positions, he led efforts in evaluating and acquiring several key technologies in the fields of oncology, infectious, and inflammatory diseases. Dr. Cui is a member of the board of directors of ProGenTech. He received his PhD in Cancer Biology from Stanford University, and a BS in Molecular Biology from Peking University.
